COURSE CONTENT:
Learners must have completed the Digital Essentials – Level 1 program as a pre-requisite to this course.
This program covers broad areas of different aspects of technology in an introductory sense. Topics covered include:
- Building email skills
- Creating in Word
- Finding information online
- Being social online
- Managing information
- Connecting to devices
- Day to day technology
- Being safe and secure online
- Online experiences
- MS PowerPoint
This program is designed to build a general aptitude to learning different aspects of technology and build the confidence to transfer what you know to different digital contexts.
ASSESSMENT:
There is no formal written assessment for this course.
Learners complete a pre and post-program learner survey to self-assess their knowledge, skills and confidence levels
CERTIFICATION:
A “Certificate of Participation” is issued upon completion of this course.
