This course is a pathway to Digital Essentials – Level 2.
COURSE CONTENT:
This program covers broad areas of different aspects of technology in an introductory sense. Topics covered include:
- Using your smartphone
- Using SMS
- Connecting and working safely
- Navigating the Internet
- Using email
- Using social media
- Using apps and software
- Everyday technology
- Staying safe online
The program supports learners to gain digital skills through practical and applied learning activities and is designed to build a general aptitude to learning different aspects of technology and build the confidence to transfer what you know to different digital contexts.
There is no formal written assessment for this course.
Learners complete a pre- and post-program learner survey to self-assess their knowledge, skills and confidence levels.
CERTIFICATION:
A “Certificate of Participation” is issued upon completion of this course.
